Subject: the truck has electrical!

So, as it turns out, the starter for this '87 motor only has two posts instead of the usual three. I had some stuff wired bass-ackwards. I fixed that and now I have power to my goodies. I have a minor issue with possessed tail lights and non-existent brake lights, but that can be worked out. I bumped the starter and she cranks!!! That puts me waaaayyyy over the hurdle. Now I just need to install the distributor, adjust the valves, fill all the fluids and install an exhaust. Well....I should probably put a door and fender on it, but that's just cosmetic. For now, I'll just pretend it's a dune buggy. Haha.

This beast just might make it to the show!
