AT's aren't that bad, as long as you get the torque converter lined back up properly. I rebuild a 4L60E and didn't realize that GM had bumped up to two sets of keeps on the T/C and the front pump instead of one. Bolted her up, fired her up....nothing. Sheared the nose off the front pump and fucked the T/C. $1k lesson learned....FOR MY EX-WIFE!!! The day before I buttoned it up is when we decided to split. When the truck wouldn't drive the next day, I pushed it out in front of my parents place and told her to call a wrecker. =)

Trans shop said the rebuild looked great, but the front pump & converter were shot.
