Subject: Road Trip Update

So Saturday i headed out of Austin for the west coast in my 58'. She was running tops, Dart hooked me up a muffler, everything greased lubed and filled to the tops! Camera gear,Harley,surf board and 5 cases of Lonestar...destined for California...then the curse set in. 100 miles into my 1500 mile trek - hydraulic clutch goes out.not the line but the slave cylinder just fell to shit. with time working against me, all was aborted. I was due in cali by 8am monday morning. i filled the master cylinder with fluid, pumped it a hundred times and was able to pull off 2 shifts -2nd to 3rd, and limped it into kerrville to a bro's house.timing a few stop lights, and pedestrians was a feat in itself ! I got a ride back to Austin just in time to catch a cheap flight. All is well, and ill be seein yall soon!
