Subject: Got more work done...With pictures!

Ain't nothin' easy! Bolting on a carb should be a cake walk, right? WRONG! Not on the "Cooter Special". The right rear stud hole on the intake was stripped out. I didn't have any heli-coils, so I did the next best thing. I drilled out the hole, tapped it and put in a 3/8" bolt. It worked like a charm. So that's done. Then I wired my alternator. No sweat. Two wires. Easy, right?..........nope. While stripping the wires to connect them, the wires pulled out of the plug. The good news is that my wiring kit came with a new one, so I got that done, too. Ya want a good laugh? Check out the photo of the old fuse block.....
