I know, all cars can be a bitch at times, but I'm really tired of fucking with the front suspension on Vanessa's Fairlane. I put the new upper ball joint in today, after rebuilding her control valve and replacing it yesterday. That was a serious pain in my ass. Once the thing was off, the new one was a piece of cake, but getting the old one off just about killed my ass. The project took about three hours. Guess what....the car still wobbles and wanders down the highway. It's like trying to herd cats. So, back underneath one more time. Come to find out her idler arm is worn out, too. At least that's not going to break and send us careening off the road. It'll just get sloppier as time goes by. Kinda like my ex-wife. Fuck it. I'll fix that when we get back.
