Talc works pretty well for me when I use anything at all. Usually, I just keep my finger really dry by periodically wiping it on my jeans. The sweat and skin oil are what make your finger stick. Sometimes I find it helpful to wipe off my little finger and ring finger with alcohol before I start striping. Another thing is that I rarely even use my pinky at all. I usually just 'hover' over the work, bracing with my other hand. Hope that helps.
