Sssooooooo.... you outta town boys don't know the carnage my exhaust suffered at our car show. Ross' Cafe has a really vicious entrance that ripped the shit out of my pipes as I was leaving, so something had to be done. The Edsel sits so low that it gets high-centered on a shadow of itself.

I'm going to do the po-boy air ride, like I did on my old '55. I bought air shocks that I'll be installing this weekend, and an air bubble for the trunk. Eventually, I'm going to invest in an air tank from a big truck (junkyard special) and a ball valve that will control everything from inside, but for now I'll just let air out when I wanna look cool then use the air bubble to refill the shocks to drive normally. It's kinda ghetto, but it works.

At the Hooligans show, I traded a pinstriped helmet for a brand new racing fuel cell that I'll install in the trunk. My old tank is one giant rust flake and it keeps clogging my carb. The new cell will also eliminate the problem of scraping my metal tank when I go into steep driveways or when running over insects.

There's a lesson here, kiddies. 4" lowering blocks look cool, but if your car is longer than a Geo Metro, they're not really practical for daily driving. Then again, if I wanted practical, I would have BOUGHT a Geo Metro instead of a '59 Edsel Ranger. C'est la vie.
