Well, if you boys would get yer shit together maybe Corpus wouldn't be making you guys look bad! hehehe
Kidding.

We have another forum away from this one. Actual members all have this addy and are encouraged to post, but I set up another forum for prospects to post on as well. That way, if some of 'em wound up to be idiots, I wouldn't burden you guys with the "what in the hell is this guy talking about" posts.

Really, the only thing that we do that's "special" are the scheduled build days. Every first Saturday, we get together on a members car to get a shit ton of work knocked out. Rotating schedule, so you have some time to get parts and shit rounded up and payed for.

Participation was a little weaker this last weekend, but two members had to work, and we're down to two prospects...as far as I'm concerned. Carol, who's Big K's ol' lady in case you guys didn't get to meet her, and Jason Beers. I didn't ask the new prospects for much. Just check the forum once in while, make build days, and give excuses when you can't. I guess it's too much to ask from some. Oh well. Not my problem.

We're starting to take on more build days, but only because the heat's starting to dissapate a little, and it won't be long before we're fighting down pours all the time.

Anyway, I think the reason we all stay so close in touch is because of these build days. We get a chance to get together, work, bullshit, discuss problems with our cars amongst each other, come to solutions together, etc. We're all growing together, and it's pretty freakin' cool. I wish I had a lot more time to devote to helping each and every member more, but I don't. Heck, I can't even stay outta trouble with the ol' lady for working on my shit too much. The only thing I wish happened a little more was inner-communication. I talk to all of the guys all the time, but they don't call each other too often. I understand not knowing each other too well, but shit man...it's a car club.

Fuck, I didn't even know who Dennis was when the Deuce Bags started up, but we setup to have his exhaust manifold transferred down here for me to braze up, and he was the first one callin' when I had to pick up the Pontiac the next weekend. We had never even met each other, but we were in the same car club, and that's all we needed to know to help each other.

Throwing in the towel probably isn't the answer, unless it's something that you feel you need to do. I like you, Dart. Don't really wanna see you go anywhere, but I feel your frustration. Sometimes it's hard to lead when things aren't quite going where you want them to.
