Subject: Club Progress....sorta.....

So...some news to share. Bands first: The Grinding Wheels are in if all the members can make it....Clem Hoot is in if Johnny Cat will play for free......I'll try to talk him into it Weds. evening at practice....of course Three Pot is in....haven't heard back from Turbo 350 yet. Venue: Talked just a bit to Ross Sterzing of Ross Family Restuarant just to tell him our plans and hopes to use his venue.....strangely the restaurant was pretty busy, but he said cool and would like to talk more about it...so we tentatively arrange a 3pm meeting on Weds......at least it wasn't a flat out "No". Also, there is actually more parking there than I had realized as well as the "strip" mall being converted a-frame houses also...not a strip mall at all.....Overall the buildings would make a great backdrop for an ol' school rod and custom event....there is even a barber shop with a pole! (well....candy striped wall sconses, anyway). Hopefully after Weds. the venue will be solidified. The outdoor stage has power....no need for a million extension cords...that's a plus....just realized that we may need to supply a P.A.....my P.O.S. practice system would not be adequate....Hmmm...maybe I should contact Dave Wolf and Midwest Monster as guest band....if JDeuce just flirted with him a bit......hmmmmm. Hopefully I'll have good news Weds. evening. Later.
