Yeah, I really regret doing it this way now. The "swingarm hardtail" is what I wanted to do in the beginning, but now I really wish I would have just spent the time and effort to build a jig and do it the right way, BUT I don't have the space for a jig, or the time to build one. I'm just considering this one a "practice bike". I'll start looking for a 70's ironhead to build next, and it will be a REAL hardtail. Heck, I only have a little under $1500 in this thing, and that's with almost everything new or rebuilt. The only two things that I'm not fucking with currently are the carbs(they're clean as a whistle) and the ignition system(it has a fuckin' Dyna S ignition system, which are about $600 a system). I guess I could put an old points system back on it if I had to. Just kinda dig on the performance ignition system. This bike isn't "period correct" by any means. I'm not even swapping out those gawd awful wheels for now. Just gonna paint 'em black, polish the fins, and run 'em.
