*Rae nodded to Hafiz, and waited until he was feeding the little pup and taking care of her before moving toward the new little one. She lifted her up gently, and walked to the river, where she gently cleansed her. Then, she propped her up against a tree, as she had the other pup, and spoke softly.*

"Hey little one. Wake up, darling, shhhh, it's ok, wake up."

*She whispered gently.*
