Take a look at www.proptalkrugby.com and enjoy the the Prop's testimony. PropTalk, in it's fourth year, enjoys it's flagship the prop's testimony.

Son in this world there are scrums...and in those scrums, you need....Props. You know it, but do you know the history?

Well it was 1997, I was playing for the thirds for PAC Rugby in Washington DC. Usually the 3rds get the first match of the day (1130 AM), but on this occassion, the 3rds would play the 3rd match. This would mean that the beer I had bought for the post match socializing would be confiscated by wandering A and B side ruggers and leave me with a couple drops of water and a few empties.

So instead, I sat down, watched the A side play and drank my beer prior to my match. My hooker approached me and rambled off one of the many great lines. He Said, "You use words like drunk and out of shape.....those words are the very inspiration that makes me play" Well it inspired me alright, to finish my six pack before my match and to rent that blasted movie and copy every word, pausing and playing and pausing and playing until I had the text written. My wife (well x wife) can attest to that. In any case, I released the testimony in 1998 at the Ottawa Indians Summer 15s Tournament.

This story and many other wild and great adventures (See the new series The Idiot Odysseys) are yours to read at www.proptalkrugby.com.
