Cindy-

Although we have not visited for 3-4 years, we have always stayed at Blind Pass (we purchased a trailer and now camp). Their rates are reasonable and it is located away from the busy "downtown" area. I agree with others about the biking (although you can get into the Ding Darling area thru the back way with a short ride). There is a bayou between the condos and the beach, and there are canoes available for use (free). The end of the bayou has blue crabs in it (every time we were there in January) and they can be caught easily and boiled/steamed. The beach is great and you can always drive to the busy end of the isle. If you stay at the busy end, it is much harder to get away from it. If you have some fishermen in your group, e-mail me and I can try to give you some good spots for fishing.
