My Castaways review.
The Castaways cottages on San-Cap Road just before Blind Pass Bridge. Web site: http://www.castawayssanibel.com/index.html. We stayed there from April 1 to 8, 2006. One and Two bedroom cottages clustered together on both side of San-Cap road. The cottages a very clean and comfortable. Each cottage has everything you need for a great vacation. It’s a very short walk to the beach. The Castaways is pet friendly, and cost an extra $20.00 per night for our dog. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are no phones in the cottages but you can use the office phone anytime during business hours. The Castaway’s marina has everything you need for the beach or rent a bike or canoe. The Santiva general store is right next door, and two great restaurants are right next to the store. Our favorite was The Lazy Flamingo. Try the grouper sandwich, YUM!!! The beach in front of the Castaway’s cottages is quite, and peaceful. Great shelling on the beach or better yet bring a mask and snorkel and try shelling about 10 feet off the beach. Tons of shells everywhere. Enjoy your stay at the Castaways. We will definitely stay there again.
