Thank you for your replies, I have emailed the Sanibel Police Department as to legality of the cart on bike paths and other areas. I am also bringing my Senior Citizen Chihuahua so if any Sanibel residents see a blonde dog riding in a basket on the cart, please say hello...BUT DON'T TRY TO PET THE DOG! He still has a few teeth left and he thinks he is our protector. We are very much looking forward to our trip and if the members of this forum are representative of Sanibelians the island must be one of the friendliest on earth. Thanks again, Frieda
