Portugal, Slovenia, Belgium (RTBF) was in the JSF 2007 project for sure!! Greece-ERT withdraw from the project or denied from the start on purpose to reduce the financial fee of EBU! Also there was rumours that Bosnia have shown interest with Spain,Croatia, Netherlands, Italy and there was negotiations with Germany and France.

>So why then when ERT said they were dropping out
>didn't the EBU bring in one of the 5 other
>broadcasters that didn't get picked for the shortlist?
>
>Were these 5 other countries not willing to pay as
>much as were the 8 that were picked?
