It sounds hilarious and I read that they are looking for a Carrie look alike. Is this a rumor or is it true? [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

Just my opinion, but I hope it isn't true. It sounds juvenile. It's one thing to write silly poetry on a messageboard but there's a time and a place for everything, and sitting through a skit designed to make fun of a titleholder who was fired would make me embarrassed for the girls who are competing. A few years ago, our Miss Maryland producer seemed to think that it was a good idea to write On-Stage Questions about "problems" they believed they had with the outgoing Miss Maryland. For those of us who knew about the interactions being discussed, it was VERY uncomfortable and as you say, Meemaw, just juvenile! I think that the classiest for the California USA organization to do about the Carrie Prejean situation is to ignore it. I do hope that if this is more than just a rumor, that its not going to be tasteless humor. Kramer (from Seinfeld) just did a skit that was poking fun at his racist outburst, and usually that's the best way to poke humor at something.. when the person who is the offender actually takes the stab at themselves. I am just extremely curious if this is a real event or not. Personally, I wouldn't want a part in it, but that's because I personally would just want to stay out of it and not give her any more spotlight than she's already wasted. My heart goes out to Kawena Chun. You could tell that she was really disappointed when her name was announced as 1st runner up. I like Renee Nobriga, but I'm a total Kawena fan. I have a very packed agenda! While driving there I will be thumbing through photo albums filled with pictures of me while listening to cd's of me singing.I have an appointment at a childrens hospital Saturday afternoon(they love taking pictures of me!!!11)I have been invited to visit a local homeless shelter (I didn't realize I had homeless fans who want to meet me!!!11)Saturday I will be attending the Miss CA USA preliminaries.I am very worried that the press will be focusing their attention on me instead of the delegates!So I will be very nervous,but I will have my various crowns with me for all the little girls that look up to me to try on!!!1.Sunday morning I will be attending church.I have ben asked to perform a solo(yeah,the spotlight on ME!!1) I am also going to give the sermon that morning.It will be available online to listen to.It's only a $19.95 pay-per-view charge!!1 Pageant finals are that afternoon(my nerves!!1)I will be walking the red carpet and am anticipating numerous,exhaustive interviews with various local and national news media(call me Lary King!!1) I will keep you all up to date with exclusive first-hand information that only I can share with all of you,my fans!
