By the Gods, where do I start.
I suppose it should be with the second shard. The one of green. The bastard Luke finally handed it over, and it was given to Atal with all the "pleasure" I could muster. He still fumes on his loss of scrying ball, and I know I dont have much time now.
I made plans with Luke, and he was to take Atal once I got him near. I was never comfortable with it though, there were just too many things that could go wrong.
Not that my new plan is any different. A hundred things could get us all killed. Isnt that just the way, though?
Ciro has sent word. The bastard always picks the very worst times to get himself into trouble..but as I saw it, our problems are similar, and I hope that simply letting my problem take care of his, and vice versa, we shall both escape with our skins.
My biggest fear, is that I will have no protection for my little ones from their father..but I have decided to worry about that when the time comes. If anyone is going to kill Khaless..it will be me.
In the meantime, I have my dearest husband to worry over.
I only hope the sorceress has taught him some humility.
I highly doubt it, but one can always hope.
His man, Hex (this one I have found puzzling), has come to me with news of my treasure and the results. A lost fortune, a measley replacement of slaves, and likely those lost now too..and now his ass in real trouble. I am highly suspicious of it all..yet if it is true, he is in the clutches of the sorceress of legend, I can hardly leave him there. He may be enjoying himself way too much.
