A somewhat sad and somber track, used for the night that Justin leaves his house for the very last time in the first chapter. Even though his mother is drunk and passed out on the couch, he covers her up and kisses her goodnight...not realizing that it's the last time he'll ever see her again. He looks down at her sleeping body...and wishes her well.

The first night of Justin's brand new life. The passion, the kiss, the seductive life changing bite...it is Justin and Taryn's first intimate evening together. The one that defines the entire theme of the whole saga. Justin's fallen angel...giving him the gift of an eternity in darkness. I really like the arousing (Almost sinister) vibe of this song. It just seemed to fit for the scene of two young lovers experiencing the most intimate sacrifice of all.
