Subject: Identifying a vampire. . .

Most of us know at LEAST one or two "traditional" ways of searching for and identifying a vampire. Things people actually DID in history when they were trying to look for vampires, such as opening a coffin and seeing if the corpse had one eye open, or if its body was gloated.

But, I just recently stumbled upon THIS: According to factual documentations from Eastern Europe one way to search for a vampire was to lead a VIRGIN BOY through a graveyard on a VIRGIN BLACK STALLION, and the first tomb or grave the horse would stop on was said to contain a vampire.

. . .Am I missing something here???

What, would the vampire pick up the 'scent' of a virgin boy, wake up, hope for some nookie and then the searchers would kill the vampire?!

Does anyone have any more info on this?

Erick
