If it meant my survival, I would definitely go through with it. Even if it took a lot of hesitation on my part beforehand, and a lot of guilt afterwards. I would definitely do it if I was involved with someone who was a vampire like me. I'd like to think we would keep ourselves alive for one another.However, I think I would keep the mind reading element out of it. I would rather keep my victims faceless, and nameless, if possible. I wouldn't want to know the details of their life. Reading into the mind of another...you almost ALWAYS find some redeeming quality, or emotional involvement, that gives their wickedness a reason and a purpose. I doubt I could even bite a murderer if I accidently found out that he had a loving wife and a little boy at home. Despite his evil deeds...his life has value to someone else. I'd think that this would be an ache in any vampire's heart, knowing that.
