Subject: Interesting "Lost Boys" Facts...

- The movie "The Lost Boys" was originally written for a MUCH younger cast of vampires. Barely teenagers, maybe even pre-teens. Not only that, but Chicago born actress, Jami Gertz's character ('Star')...was also originally written as a boy. The concept was to make the movie a much darker version of the story, "Peter Pan", with vampire children who were missing from home and remained young forever. Thus the title..."The Lost Boys", just like the ones in the story. (Directed by openly gay director, Joel Schumacher.)

- The youngest vampire in the movie, played by Chance Michael Corbitt, doesn't have a single line of dialogue in the entire movie. And coming in second with the least amount of spoken lines in the script? Main charachter, Kiefer Sutherland??? Well, I guess if you if you really think about it...he really DIDN'T talk a whole lot in that movie, did he? I guess he didn't have to.

- The first time that there was ever talk of a sequel being made was around the year 2000. It featred an all female biker gang and was titled "The Lost Girls". Britney Spears was tapped to possibly play the lead.
