First of all...NO Roddy McDowell! That's already a HUGE flaw! (Must we mention a remake of Halloween with no Jamie Lee Curtis OR Donald Pleasance???)

Second of all...NO Evil Ed!!!! I remember being really young, but being kinda 'hot' for him! And then they showed him naked...it was like...mmmmm! (He went on to do gay porn, by the way! Wish I could have seen it!)

THIRD of all...the premise of having a vampire move in next door was mostly an 80's concept thing! Sure you could modernize the idea...but they've already DONE that! It was called, "Let The Right One In", and it's already being remade again!

Arrrgh...is it really that HARD to come up with something new? I do it all the time. It takes a little extra thought and struggle, sure...but it's better than ruining an old cult favorite.
