I dun't think guns would work on vampires. . .
First, the Hunter has to aim at the heart (this is assuming a bullet can kill a vampire if shot through the heart) which I'm thinking will be hard considering what we know about the vampires in GFD: wounds that would kill an ordinary man would not kill a vampire, and vampires in GFD move pretty fast.
Secondly, I think that the Hunters find it more 'appropriate' to take down a vampire with their sharp silvery knives. I get the feeling that Hunters consider the killing of another vampire with a gun to be something that's not vampire-like. In other words, if they want to kill a vampire, they'll do it in 'their own style'. Not the way non-vampires do it.
Thirdly, reading about Hunters fighting without guns is just plain awesome!!! Hehehee!
