Subject: CASTING CALL: "Diva - Hot Gossip In High Heels"
This week, we're looking for the ultra fabulous, forever glamorous, 'slightly' feminine (hehehe), character of Ms. Divinity James! ('Diva' for short) A 'reader' vampire drag queen that acts as Justin's underground connection to information that he can't get from anywhere else. The gossip queen of the area, she's a vital key in helping Justin find out what he needs to know when everybody else is keeping quiet about it. Who do you think could play the part?
***CASTING DESCRIPTIONS***
- Diva is an African American male, who doesn't necessarily look 'convincing' as a woman, but wears the clothes and wigs anyway. Does not need to look like an actual woman when dressed up.
- Must have comic timing, and be funny when called for. Some effeminate acting is key to the role.
- Charcter age is not really specified, but between mid 20's and mid 30's is preferable, or an actor that can play that role.
- make up and wardrobe time will extensive.
