I have known a lot of smart children in Real life. Despite what opinions other adults have said, I believe that a lot of these children are more mature and more intelligent than they give them credit for. They are certainly capable of making rational decisions for themselves.

The double standard I see is when a someone they consider a child talks about such big decisions as love, etc. they are considered not old enough to know any better. Yet the same child commits a crime, maybe even murder, those same people would turn around and say that the child knew what they were doing and should be tried as an adult... huh? where's the logic in that?

Also some halflifes were not given any choice in the matter of been turned, so why should they suffer even more for something that was done to them?

so yes, I do believe halflifes are more than capable.... to an extent though...Because a halflife at fourteen is a lot more knowledgable than a halflife of ten and below so maybe there should be restrictions of turning children around that age, maybe even up to eleven...

course that is just my opinion....
