You do have an interesting take on things, I'm still not sure on your saying "I'd take out the good and the bad", it still seemed a bit unclear, but I digress.

You know if you remove your genes from the gene pool, that weakens, not strengths it, because it has less potential mixing. Not sure if you're aware of this or not, but we went through a bottle neck. "Geneticists Lynn Jorde and Henry Harpending of the University of Utah propose that the variation in human DNA is minute compared to that of other species. They also propose that during the Late Pleistocene, the human population was reduced to a small number of breeding pairs – no more than 10,000, and possibly as few as 1,000 – resulting in a very small residual gene pool. Various reasons for this hypothetical bottleneck have been postulated, one being the Toba catastrophe theory." That's from Wikipedia, though it is a reliable source, it's being taught in both the college level and on the History Channel... that's gotta mean somethin.

So in all actuality, the gene pool is rather small. You'd be doing a diservice.
