Hello Gina and congrads on your title ,I ran for Mrs.Ohio United States and placed 2nd runner up it was my second pageant, my first was at the Miss US Miss in Mississippi, i didn't win but i did bring home the spirit award out of 11 southern states so i am proud , but i am so glad that someone finally put a site up and your right i think you actually have to win a title to get people to listen to you, I know years ago i always wanted to do pageants but never felt i had the qualifications to do it like being a career woman i am a proud mom of four kids now and have been married going on 5 years , to me i don't think that stay at home wives and mom's get the credit like they should it seems like to have to have the beauty, the money and the career to be in a pageant i thought that for years until one day i decided to do it anyways, as i learned down the years i realized that you don't have to be all of that to win a title, i will still continue joining pageants and who knows maybe one day i will take home the title for something but i want to let other women out there to know, one day you will see a woman winning the title who is just a regular stay at home mom, wife or even a single mom and the money part women don't know ways and means to get the money cause alot doesn't know about sponsors i have talked with several women and the same thing i heard and still do is what i thought before i started joining pageants it doesn't take much to win a title and one day hopefully someone who does win the title will let women out there know.
