The reason I ask is some years ago I was compiling a Book of Remembrance and came across a list of Merchant Navy seamen commemorated in St. Mary's Church in Whitby from WWII. I researched all the names in the book and found the ships all the men were lost from. There was an A. Wilton named in this book, but the only A.
