Hi Eric,

I just found your reply (dated 26/12/2010)to my query about the Hardwick Grange tonight and I was delighted to see the account of the survivors on the lifeboat that was at sea for 13 days. My uncle was on that boat but he was lost on board The Southern Empress on his way back to England. I have a letter he wrote to his sister while he was in Port-Au-Prince but it did not contain any details about conditions in the lifeboat. Thank you again for posting link to the PDF.
