Like you in 49 I went to the Vindi then through the mill, promoted DBoy to JOS at sea after twelve months then promoted JOS to SOS again after twelve Months. Then passed EDH at shipping office, [I think} then AB after twelve months. It is amazing how things changed by the time Billy went to sea, I never had a steering ticket, they never asked for one when I was with a pilot.
