He could see the flash of the ambulance lights already, a few blocks dowbn the street. Quiuckly, numbly, panicked, he opened the jacket, ripping the gun from it (as carefully as one can rip a gun from a jacket) and then shoving it into the bushes next to the house. He'd pick it up later...if he came back. He knew Lenwar couldn't get caught with a gun right now. It'd look really bad for him, heart attack or not. He was allowed to get into the ambulance with Lenwar, and he held his arm (squeeze....squeeze....squeeze every few seconds until they told him to let go) alm0ost the entire way there.
