Dear All,

With regards to the announcement on the civil service pay adjustment, it is expected that the terms of employment of both the newly recruited and the existing employees of the Government and HA would be affected. The adjustment scheme would impinge the employment condition of the staff recruited after 2000. 4.1. To enhance the communication between the government, the HA and various disciplines of health care, the captioned forum is organized. Mr Anthony Wu Ting-yuk and Mr Shane Solomon, the Chairman and Chief Executive of the Hospital Authority will be attending the forum to discuss the captioned issue. The attendance of Dr York Chow, Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Bureau, will be confirmed later.

Details of the forum are as below:

Date: Monday, 13 August 2007

Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Venue: Room 1030, 10/F Hong Kong Scout Centre, Scout Path, Austin Road, Kowloon
