Maureen Ryan (at the Chicago Tribune) is reporting that UP TO THREE movies will be made once filming finishes on Season 4 (later this month), but mostly dependent on which actors are available. There's also talk of number-crunching at the higher levels, and while some dismiss it still as "idle chatter", others apparently are "cautiously optimistic".

So it sounds like SciFi is definitely trying to work something out, but I fear they've left it too late to do anything - especially as it's likely Ron Moore and David Eick will be busy with other projects (David's working on the NBC series "The Philanthropist", while Ron's doing "Caprica" - not to mention "Virtuality", the pilot Ron & David still have at Fox as a potential midseason series).
