Subject: Massive, Massive Spoiler Alert

According to SyFy Portal, Mary McDonnel only has three episodes of BSG left to film, i.e, Roslin's gonna croak mid season.

I'd take it with a *hugs* grain of salt given it's not a direct quote from McDonnel, but someone saying she said it, but still, it's not entirely implausible........

a huge grain of salt, although you can also have hugs if you feel you need them. :)

That would definitely take out a certain dynamic to the show IMHO. I'm one of those that enjoys her character. I guess that may also take her out as the final five running.

I dunno, on the one hand, killing Roslin before the finale has it's story bonuses, the Adamas grief for 'mom', the power vacuum it'd leave, even the religious vacuum it'd leave, but on the other hand...

Firstly, if, and that's a big if, McDonnell did say 'she has 3 eps left to film', that could me completely taken out of context maybe the next bit was 'and then it's Christmas Vacation!', while I wont be shocked if she dies, I would be surprised if it happened before, ep 17 at the earliest, cause otherwise, as you say, it's a lose of a certain, vital, dynamic.

I also cant help suspect Roslin is the dying leader is a red herring, I kinda expect Adama will keel over and die and Roslin will live.
