Subject: Hey Chani....random OT question.

I know you don't go to the blue board anymore, so I wanted to ask if you remember Pattymelt. She always had these amazing stories, and since you are an "oldtimer" I thought you might know where she was or who she was. Just curious. After her name came up in a discussion I've become fascinated with catching up with her life.

but I didn't really know her. In the old days, the time zones thing prevented me from knowing well many posters who were active while I was sleeping!

It took the Bet, the Ship War and then Sharky and his DSN to make me interact more with faraway posters. And so many have simply vanished over the years (I started posting on the C&S in February 2002).

I guess you just made a strong impression on that board my dear. At one point a few weeks ago, the blue board reverted to 2005. It was really fun to read some of those old posts and it actually came at a perfect time when "someone" was in a Joss bashing mood yet again.

WHile it really doesn't have much to do with the shows anymore, it is a friendly, fun place to keep up with items of the day and posters.
