Soon you'll be supporting my Boomer theory and I will argue against it! ;- P

The memories thing is really intriguing. Think of that crazy Six that nuked herself, Gina...Caprica for isntance never seemed to have access to those memories.

Perhaps there's just something very special about the Eights. *scratches head*

Whereas Gina knew what she was all along, so her mission was different. Also, when sending Boomer on her mission they must have planned for the contingency of being able to access her memories in case they needed another Sharon.

OH! Or, I just of this, maybe it's just that the Eights are more intrigued by the concept of human life. Think about it - Boomer was a true sleeper, not aware of what she really was. And from what we've seen she's the only one of the Original Seven Cylons who had that role (the others - Doral, D'Anna, Caprica, et cetera, knew they were Cylons). We know from The Hub that there must be something about the Eights that make them curious about this "human life". So maybe the difference is simply that Athena *wanted* Boomer's memories (either for her mission, or for her own personal curiosity prior to the mission even existing), whereas Caprica wasn't interested in Gina's corrupted memories.

But according to the Eight who flirted talked with Helo, Athena transmitted her memories as well(until Helo shot her and she downloaded)yet she never was a sleeper, she always knew she was a Cylon.

Perhaps it's just that the Eights just want Helo!

But I don't see why the other models wouldn't want to access memories of Cylons living int he fleet(if they could), because accessing such direct data must have been an asset in War Time.

I'm inclined to say "no" because of all the stuff with the Eights, along with the fact that it seems like nobody else can access the Final Five data (from the Temple Of The Five) other than D'Anna (otherwise the 268 alliance could've just uploaded that specific memory themselves rather than going to the trouble of rescuing D'Anna).

But a confirmation either way onscreen would go a long way to clearing a few things up!
