I also find it unusual for him to give Gaeta a week off. I know a little about military chain of command, and although the XO would certainly have the authority, something about it doesn't seem right. Is Saul expecting a lull in the action where the troops can stand down for a little R&R? I doubt the season is going to kick off without all hands needed ondeck.
