Subject: Death of Chuck England

Dave!

I just found your email among the multitude on my husband's list. As you are the best source for me to inform the reunion committee at West High about the death of my husband, Charles R. England, I decided to send this to you. Please forgive me if you are not the correct person to inform. I'm sorry you are receiving this in such an untimely manner.

Chuck passed away soon after your last reunion, Dec. 22, 2007 at UCSD Hospital in San Diego. His aorta split and his heart and lungs failed. He entered the hospital 12/15/07, two days before his 69Th birthday.

As a family man, he was married 46 years, had two sons [one the owner of a successful Container Co. the other a successful business owner, City Councilman and Mayor pro tem], and a daughter [ a property appraiser]. His eight grandchildren were the stars in his eyes.

Chuck was a good man that lived life to the fullest. As a past member of Kiwanis and other service organizations, he was involved in his community and dedicated to helping others of less means. Chuck wanted to attend his 50Th reunion but his health kept him home. When he spoke about his years at West High as the foundation for future success and friends that remained forever in his heart, he grinned and you saw a glint of humor and past happiness!
