A few months ago two paramedics were on their lunch break in a restaurant. While they were eating, a pregnant waitress went into a seizure. Staff and customers begged the paramedics for help and the male emt said, "Call 9-11. We're on our lunch break."
The woman died. The baby was delivered but died two days later.

Yesterday, the paramedic who said, "Call 9-11. We're on our lunch break," was killed by a stray bullet.

You can only be a Grade-A asshole for so long before it catches up to you.
