I woke up this morning to an email from a friend of mine. A woman she works with has a daughter who just broke up with her husband. She has 3 dogs and can't afford them so if she didn't find a home, by monday, for her 1 year old lab mix, she was putting him down on Tuesday morning. Took me 5 minutes to save the dog's life. A friend of mine is with an animal rescue group. I called her and she said if the woman can keep the dog until Tuesday evening, she wll have a spot for the dog. I said if worse comes to worse I'll take the dog until Tuesday but I didn't want to even meet the dog because I know damn well I'd end up keeping him. So I called the woman and said we have a place for the dog but we can't take it until Tuesday evening. She agreed. So we save the dog and I don't have to worry about falling in love with him myself.
It was a good morning
