pretty boring. The selection process I mean. Each lawyer defense and pros. interviews each prospective juror. Asks each one, the same set of questions. So sitting through 50 prospects gets rather tedious.

I've made it to the interview maybe 3 times in 35 years. When they get to the question, do I work for any police agencies? when I describe my job, one or the other lawyer excuses me from the process. THAT fulfils my service until the next year. Even that I now declare I'm retired, they STILL dont want me.
I believe I deserve a pass on this whole process. I've tried to serve but every time I get there I'm told to go home. We dont want you. Now it's just a big pain in the ass every time I get "THAT" envelope in the mail.
