So many of my internet friends are ill or know someone who is ill. Just heard yesterday that one of my internet friends, GENE, has cancer. No details yet, but this does not look good. They think the cancer is somewhere else in his body. Lord, please help Gene get through this, to endure whatever treatment or surgery is necessary, and keep him upbeat. I know what you mean, Toni. I talked with Gene last night on the phone and he said he feels better, but he's on pain medication. He and his wife are moving to Phil,PA next week so they will be close to their kids. Most of them live there. He'll be taking radiation treatments. He is terminal, so say the doctors. Hi Pixie. My furbaby went downhill again, and the vets are working hard on trying to pull her back up again. Thrombocytopenia is a nasty disease to have and so unpredictable. My face surgery will be done on 10/08 for the basal cell carcinoma. After the dermatologist does his procedure, I'll be handed over to a plastic surgeon; however, I WILL have a scar. It'll be in the shape of an upside down T the will run from my lip to my nose. Any and all prayers would be appreciated. Thanks for asking, Pixie. Dottie has passed and I can't stop the tears from flowing. I know she's no longer in pain, but I guess I'm selfish because all I can think is how much I'll miss her. She said pink, purple and white; so I'm hoping to have an arrangement done in those colors. It's getting late. I may just go ahead and order the flowers and then let everyone in on the cost.
