The teaching of the English language has been more and more frequent in the countries where the Portuguese is considered official language, due to the globalization. Since the United States turned in a world potency it becomes intense the trade, immigration and cultural exchange among several countries. For that reason, the English language turned the world language, in the attempt of tying the nations. Several countries have been adopting the English language as second language in the attempt of they insert at the world market. Angola and Brazil are countries in which is motivated the study of the English language a lot. The schools of English language in Angola present a better and effective methodology in short period in relationship the schools in Brazil.

In Angola, English's schools usually work from Monday to Saturday. However, the students go to schools from Monday to Friday as norm and on Saturdays as optional. The classes happen everyday of the week, with two hours class per day. And on Saturdays in the project "opened school" the students are not forced to attend. On that day there is display of films, lectures, debates and the students of different levels have opportunities to make new friends.

In the classroom the teachers are forced to speak only English. But on the first two weeks that are considered introductory they can teach in Portuguese. On two weeks the teachers work: greetings and farewells; personal presentation; how to ask permission; how to ask something that is not known in English or from English to Portuguese, etc, after that, the teacher should speak only English Teachers that are found speaking Portuguese in the classroom may lose teacher's job. Indeed, in Angola, there is certain rigorousness in English's schools.

The teachers address more their classes for conversation and not for grammar. Through films, music, interviews and general knowledge the students are stimulated to talk. During the week the teacher should always choose one day to practice the conversation in class. This allows students to have more contact with the language, and they do not need to stay in the school for many years.

On the other hand, in Brazil English's schools usually have two classes in a week according to the norm. Normally from Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. And those classes usually last two hours per day; in other words, in Brazil the students have less contact with the English language. The workload allows the students to be many years in the schools, but they learn not enough. The teachers have little time for conversation, to pass films, to translate music and to do other activities with the students.

English's schools in Brazil seem to worry more with the profit of the monthly fee and not with the student's learning for the good reference of the school. The students remain many years in the schools to begin to talk in English. Thing that does not happen in Angola. The two times that the student goes to English's course in a week, it is not enough to remind and to apply the classes in practice. According to ( Adriana Soeiro 2007) every student of any foreign language should always be in contact with the language that learns. The more contact the person has with the language smaller will be the time to begin to talk in English.
