Thanks for the compillation.

The Abington Ward 7 Committee-People met the evening following the regional meeting at which the candidates spoke. I will not write on their behalf, but I will summarize my "understandings" following the event.

FIRST, THERE IS NO "ABINGTON LOYALTY" TO ANY OF THE "NATIVE-SONS/DAUGHTERS" RUNNING THEREIN. In fact, the organization...as has become customary...is split right down the middle!

THEREFORE, IT CANNOT BE ASSUMED THAT IT SUPPORTS EITHER KRETSCHMAN/SHEA...PARTICULARLY NOTING THEIR ASHER-LINKAGES.

[N.B.: I signed the Shea petition, but do not support her.]

ABINGTON'S HOLT/PAGE ARE SUPPORTED VIGOROUSLY, FOR THEY DO NOT APPEAR TO BE DAVIS/ASHER-TAINTED.

SECOND, LORETTA LEADER GAVE A FOOLISH-SPEECH (COMPLETE WITH HAND-SIGNS?) AND WAS NOT WELL-RECEIVED.

I have known her from her DJ-Cheltenham days, but she seems to have faultered.

THIRD, DONNELLY WAS PERSONABLE AND SHEA WAS STILTED.

While Donnelly was walking to the front of the room, he issued an aside noting that a lot of people had left just after the coroner-candidates had discussed dead-bodies. This got a laugh, and he continued to speak extemporaneously.

Shea read her no-content speech @ 16-2/3 RPM [remember the old victrolas?). She wasn't able to muster any reasonable rationale for her having challenged the incumbent.

FOURTH, I DIDN'T HEAR THE CORONER CANDIDATES' SPEECHES, BUT I WAS TOLD BOTH ACQUITTED THEMSELVES WELL.
