We are teachers and I think the following is noticed by all of us. So I want to share with you guys.

Reason:(?)
Many students show difficulties in the comprehension of texts and in the synthesis of their contents. The students also have troubles in showing capacity of inference, perception of ironies, interpretation of the between-the-lines message; besides they lack their own critique of what they read and find it hard to relate the content of a text with the social context or reality in which they live.
