I'd like to know exact WHO is a "Denton regular" as you so eloquently stated. I, for one, only raced there less than 6-7 times for the first 11 years of the track's existence yet have always lived less than 30 minutes from the gates. Now that the track is a viable, marked success I am proud to call it my home and have attended every bracket event scheduled in 2007.

If you a impuning that those competitors that reside in the Denton area are sub-par bracket racers then I think it may be time for a geography lesson for you...or a good on-track ass-kicking, you choose. 99% of us that live from Gainesville to Carrollton and from Decatur to McKinney previously frequented TXR, Motorplex, Paris, and Redline prior to North Star's resurrection this season. Point: your zip code has nothing to do with your ability to race and win.

I am pleased that some of the area's best bracket racers have spent the entire season at North Star. Having all those "rejects" and "exes", as you have labeled them, will serve to raise the bar at our home track. While I haven't had quite the season I wanted I can assure you that it has had NOTHING to do with where so and so bracket racer was once a loyal customer. Most of my round losses this year have been my fault alone and not the result of the reputaion of my oppoents.

So go right ahead and continue with the gum-flapping (or keyboard diddling) because in the end, you have no point.
