Subject: Where is she now?

Greetings BLTers!

My name is Nick Slater, and I am from Wichita, Kansas USA. I lived in Bingley up until 1968, and moved to the USA in 1978. My parents were Edgar and Barbara Slater, who were both active in BLT and BAOS. I performed in a number of BLT productions, including "The Hunting of The Snark", in the mid sixties (I forget the exact year).

The reason I'm posting this message is to get some info on whatever might have happened to my childhood sweetheart, who I still think about much of the time. Her name, up until at least 1970, was Gillian Horton. Of course it may have changed since then. Gillian was active in BLT, BAOS as well as many other local dramatic groups. She also appeared in the lead role in "Free As Air" in Eldwick in the mid to late sixties.

Gillian's father's name was Donald Horton, and Donald was also an active member/performer in BLT over the years. I forget Gillian's mother's name, but she was a very good vocalist and appeared in BAOS production of "Carousel" around 1961 or so. Both Gillian and I were also in that production.

If anyone can give me any information on what became of Gillian Horton, I would be most grateful. You may contact me at nslater3@cox.net.

Thank you!

Regards,

Nick Slater
Wichita, Kansas USA
