Beenliving in communities this small and smaller for over 20 years. THAT's the problem, bundlee (which I assume isn't your real name!) You can't talk about anything remotely controversial in these small towns (there...I said it) because you will be ostracized. You don't know who I am or how long I have lived on Cortes which makes me feel freer to say what I think. Meanwhile I can go on smiling & nodding and exchanging pleasantries with my good neighbours even though we may disagree strongly on many issues that if talked about in the open would make us enemies.
So...with all due respect...don't assume that you have lived on Cortes longer than I or know what Island living is all about.
Once again, don't tell me that creating a "proper" forum is a lot of work and then criticize this one cause it doesn't reach your high standards. Create one or don't. Use this one or don't. be offended or don't ! I don't give a **** ! (See...I'm being polite.) People get offended at the most silly and trivial stuff that there's no point worrying about it. I hope you continue to contribute and if you're worried about what others will think, use a pseudonym. All for now. Cheers....
