Hey David,
there is no place in Southern California (below Point Conception) to catch a dungeness crab. To the best of my knowledge, dungeness are indiginious to Northern California, Oregon, & Washington. There are a few caught in the Morro Bay area, but I do not think they are caught in large quantities???
